MindManager Presenter

Create and show presentations with a webcam that are embedded in and linked to a map.  To record media, you will need to download and install the free Microsoft Media Encoder.

The MindManager Presenter adds two task panes to MindManager: MindManager Presenter and MindManager Recorder. Using these task panes in conjunction with a map, a presentation can be recorded, embedded in the map and played back.  When the presentation is played back the topics selected during the recording are focused on and synchronized with the audio/video content.

• Install MindManager 6 Basic, 6 Pro, or 6 Trial.
• Install the free Microsoft Media Encoder.
• Download and install MindManager Presenter.msi

• Connect a microphone and/or a video camera/webcam to your computer
• Start MindManager Pro 6
• Open the Recording Task Pane
• Select the audio and video sources that you want to use.
• Open the map that you want to present
• Press Start Recording to start recording the presentation
• Press Pause during the presentation to pause the recording
• Press Stop Recording to stop the recording and attach the audio/video into the central topic of the map.

• Start MindManager Pro 6
• Open the Presenter Task Pane
• Open a map that was created during the recording session.  This map should have an attachment on the central topic named “MindManager Presentation.wmv”.
• Press Start to start playing back the presentation.
